1. Go over notes for the defence force (assessment day is coming up next week).
2. Edit the short Japanese fairy-tale story and decide if it is ready to be sent off (deadline is 8th July).
3. Write a piece to be read out for the arts festival (10th July), yes I will be doing public speaking, heaven help us all. Let's hope I don't rally the people and initiate my plan for total world domination ;)
4. Do another look over the writers group newsletter (first edition will be available 1st July).
Next week and the week after everything should fall into place (fingers crossed) and I might have a firmer idea as to where my future is heading be it in the armed forces or not. My mother has been asking the question "What will you do if you don't get in?" Well, there is an editing course at the Open College that has caught my eye... maybe even if I do get in I could still complete it what with its very flexible timetable. That way I will have a trade (yes, I am calling editing a trade because unlike writing, particularly when you are unknown, it actually pays money. Decent money too) when I leave. Hmm, just thinking at the moment.
