When you fall in love with someone it depends on what type it is.
First, there is the love at first sight. You feel like throwing up, your knees are weak and everything you say is stupid.
Second, is the growth of love. Over a period of time you like being around someone and it just feels normal.
Third, the obsessive/possessive or stalker or crush, depending upon the level of craziness. They are all you can think of, you have to know everything about them but you are afraid to get close in case you embarrass yourself or you have to be close to them and be there all of the time. Constant texting is included here.
Fourth, is a combination of some or all of the above.
Love is defined as having great affection, sexual passion or enjoyment.
What also needs to be included is the change it causes. You no longer want to be an individual, you desire being a twosome and become dependent on the other person for moral and emotional support, physical gratification (a note on that later) and protection from the greater community.
See, when you reach the end of your teens and enter your twenties it is expected that you have had some sort of boyfriend. Mid twenties you have one or two serious relationships. Late twenties, earlier thirties you have settled down and can now think of reproducing.
If you are single for a long period of time, there is something wrong with you. You have to endure the endless questions of why not and the standard advice from grandmas to fourteen year old cousins with boyfriends; it will happen.
But don’t mistake the love of a friend for being in love. They are separate due to physical attraction. When you find someone sexually arousing it is possible to fall in love and want to have a romantic relationship. Another note to remember is that feelings of love can be evoked when two people have regular coitus. Physical contact and the orgasmic release can grow into affection over time.
For all this people have been fighting and killing others and themselves.
When you’re in love nothing else exists. You go a little crazy. Lose yourself, lose control and have no idea what’s happening inside of your head.
The ultimate sacrifice for love is when the one you love loses their head and you just watch.
