Well, thanks to the universe I was in the right place at the right time to score a seat for one of the courses Derek Murphy from CreatIndie.com is running and I am learning so much from him. Definitely recommend him if you’re looking to self-publish. He practices what he preaches. We’ll see if it works for me in a little while (fingers crossed).
I’ve been revising all of my books (and that’s taking a while). Four down, three to go. And if you would like to receive the Blair series for free please sign up for the newsletter and I’ll send you the link. You’ll also get a lot of other cool exclusive stuff in the monthly newsletter.
Lady of the House will end this month. Goodbye Lori, it’s been fun. In its place I will be sharing the first 500 words or first chapter from my books. The number of books has grown and still is growing, which means the following eight weeks will be dedicated to them. Once they have been proudly shown off (I love all of my book babies, who needs to get pregnant with a real baby?) I will start a new Friday series.
The blog will be getting fewer days, meaning I’ll post Monday, Wednesday, and Friday instead of the five days that’s been happening for the past two years. Hopefully this will result in better articles and stories and a little less frazzled writer (yeah, sleep would be nice).
GAMMA Con is a go for September. If you’re in Canberra, please come and say hi.
I start my animation class in a little over a month. Looking forward to that.
My first author talk will be in October. *gulp* What am I going to talk about?
And I Heart Pop Asia will be ready for release in December.
I think that’s everything… yep. For now, anyway. Well, let’s get ready for the next phase of the following step for total world domination and hopefully I don’t get distracted by anime along the way. That is very possible. My darling cousin has left in my possession Cardcaptor Sakura and The Last Avatar and the new Sailor Moon. I think I’m screwed.
