Kull (Kevin Sorbo aka Hercules in case you had a very deprived upbringing) is a barbarian warrior who becomes king of Vulusia by a loop hole in the law, which doesn't make the blood heirs to the throne happy. He falls in love with one of the girls in the palace harem, Zareta (Karina Lombard). But when it comes time for him to take a bride he accepts one offered to him by the other heirs and that is where the real problems begin; his bride is none other than the resurrected witch queen Akivasha (Tia Carrere) and she wants to bring about the end of the world again. Kull, Zareta and a monk must travel far to find the one thing to kill the three thousand year old witch. "But she said she was nineteen."
Absolutely a superb B grade film.
Everyone knows this is a fun film and they don't take themselves seriously at all which means the laughs come thick and fast. Kevin Sorbo is my favourite, he can easily take the piss out of himself but still maintain character. I love him and his action hero mullet (yes there are mullets). The soundtrack is killer rock. Forget this is meant to be medieval, they have an electric guitar to say that shit is about to go down.
Love it and it always makes me smile when I watch it or even think about it so everyone should sit down and have a good laugh with Kevin Sorbo. For sure.
